Hot Topics in Cardiology has been published three times a year since 2006. The editors-in-chief of this series are Sergio Dalla Volta, Distinguished Professor of Cardiology at the Department of Cardiothoracic Sciences, University of Padua, Italy, and Christopher P. Cannon, Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Associate Physician in the Cardiovascular Division at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA, USA.[5]
